I absolutely loved chair shots to the Head growing up watching wrestling. I still do. But it's good that they are no longer allowed. We know way too much about concussions now. I think if done properly a few times a year they could really add something to a feud but it would have to be a scenario where the wrestler absolutely positively 100% is forced to put his hand up. If you put a hand up, they aren't bad at all. I started wrestling when I was 18 and I'm 36 now. I haven't wrestled much the last 3 years but I've taken chair shots to The Head And if you just put your arm up it takes away like 99% of the impact. But I had a month-long feud with my buddy and I came up with this great spot to go into the finish of the match where my arms were tied up in the ropes and he goes to hit me with a chair and then stops like he has a heart and doesn't want to do it and then says fuck it and levels me with it. And I told him you got to bring this chair shot don't make it look like shit. And as my arms are tied up in the ropes I'm realizing that these are cable ropes and not ropes like WWE so I have zero mobility with my hands so I ate 100% of that share shot right to the skull and absolutely had a concussion. They are no fucking joke
